Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions seeks a Controller to lead financial reporting and operations, reporting to the Region VP of Finance and Division Manager. You will partner across functions to drive strategy, ensure GAAP compliance, and optimize cash flow while guiding a high-performing finance team.

The role requires CPA certification, a bachelor’s in accounting, and 5–10 years in a Controller capacity, with strong cost accounting and inventory management skills. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• CPA certification is required; MBA is a plus.
• 5–10 years of experience as a Controller or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior finance leadership to set financial goals and strategy.
• Establish and improve internal control systems and procedures.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee accounting data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with CPA firm for external audits and tax compliance.
• Manage annual audit and auditor relations.
• Drive cash flow optimization and working capital improvements.
