Job summary

Compass Group USA in the Fort Cavazos area seeks an Operations Controller to manage the accounting activities within an assigned account and assist the Regional Director of Finance with regional financial operations.

Responsibilities include cash handling, monthly reconciliations, financial analysis, budgeting and reporting, as well as payroll and HR administration. The role requires a strong accounting background and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of five years’ experience with revenue control, financial reporting and cash handling.
• Experience in foodservice or retail industry preferred; strong Excel and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cash handling procedures and reconciliations.
• Analyze financial results and maintain monthly P/L and balance sheets.
• Develop forecasts and budgets, monitor risks and opportunities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for internal/external use.
• Administer payroll and HR related activities as assigned.
