Job summary

SEI in Oaks, PA seeks a Senior Business Manager to own the financial performance of a grouping of business units. You will manage P&L, forecasts, pricing analysis, client contracting, and coordination with Corporate Accounting, Compliance, Internal Audit and other teams.

You will partner with sales and product teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and profitability, while driving strategic financial decisions and ensuring strong financial controls.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience
• BA/BS in accounting or finance or related field
• Ability to lead and develop staff for SEI
• Ability to read and analyze financial statements and public filings
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and SEI financial systems knowledge a plus
• Experience in wealth/investment management or data-oriented businesses a plus
• Analytical and diagnostic skills for business/financial issues
• Strong relationship-building and strategic advisory capabilities
• Ability to communicate at the executive level

Responsibilities

• Strategic financial analysis and long-term planning, including business analytics
• Monthly close and financial reporting
• Create and maintain annual financial plans and monthly forecasts
• Manage vendor and client contracts, billing, and fees
• Overall expense planning and variance analysis
• Support audit processes with Compliance and Internal Audit
• Ensure SOX compliance and controls
• Oversee sales compensation and salaries as applicable
• Partner with business teams to improve profitability and growth
• Stay informed on industry standards and communicate with clients and vendors
