Job summary

Oscar Health in New York City is seeking an Associate, Strategic Finance to join the FP&A team. The role supports financial planning, analytics, and strategic partnerships with senior leadership.

You will report to the Senior Director, Strategic Finance & Corporate Development and contribute to forecasting, reporting, and business insights across Corporate, Operations, and Technology divisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Actuarial or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of finance experience including Healthcare, Consulting, Insurance or Financial Services.
• 2+ years of experience with Google products – Sheets/Docs/Slides or Microsoft products.
• 2+ years of experience working with C-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Craft recommendations using data-driven approach for senior executives to inform pricing decisions.
• Support build of models and tooling for business insights and scenario modeling.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Regional Leaders, Plan Design and Sales teams on portfolio strategy.
• Identify profitability tradeoffs, market trends, and membership insights for strategic decisions.
• Source, organize, and analyze data to support strategic programs.
• Monitor ACA trends to inform tactics during selling season.
• Report intra-year membership analytics to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
