Job summary

The Morning Star Company in Woodland, CA is seeking an Enterprise Finance Partner to advance financial health by delivering rigorous cost accounting, financial analysis, and strategic insight. This on-site role collaborates with operations across facilities and requires strong ERP and Excel skills.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analyses, with regular travel to facilities as needed, and you should have 7–15 years of relevant experience and a hands-on, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of relevant experience in business, finance or accounting.
• Strong foundation in business, finance and accounting.
• Experience with MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, macros, pivot tables).
• Experience with SQL and/or Sage 300 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Champion adoption and integration of emerging technologies to streamline financial and business processes.
• Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and perform ad hoc analyses.
• Analyze operating and financial data to identify trends and KPIs.
• Partner with operating colleagues to develop budgets and quarterly reviews.
• Evaluate and improve business processes, systems and talent.
• Ensure contracts and commitments are properly executed.
• Develop and manage relationships to understand strategic and financial signals.
