Job summary

Habitat Omaha is seeking a Finance & Business Analyst to drive financial planning, analysis, and business decision-making within a collaborative, mission-driven nonprofit. You will build multi-year models, forecasts, dashboards, and management reports, partnering with leaders across departments to optimize resources and support affordable housing initiatives in Omaha.

You will translate complex data into actionable recommendations for leadership and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field.
3–6 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, business analytics, accounting, or related disciplines.
Experience developing budgets, forecasts, financial models, and management reporting.
Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

Drive Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and maintain multi-year models, forecasts, and scenario analyses.
Deliver meaningful insights: monitor KPIs across financial and operational areas and prepare reports for leadership.
Enhance Reporting & Analytics: design dashboards and reporting tools to improve forecasting and accountability.
Support Treasury & Financial Operations: develop cash flow projections and assist with regulatory reporting.
Contribute to Organizational Excellence: support audits and prepare materials for leadership and stakeholders.
