Job summary

Housing Works in New York, NY is seeking a Financial Analyst to support strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and decision support across the organization. You will develop financial models, pro formas, cash flow forecasts, and business cases that inform executive decisions and long-term sustainability.

The role reports to the SVP of Finance and partners with operational and leadership teams to optimize revenue, manage expenses, and drive growth across healthcare services,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Monitor performance against budget and identify variances in revenue and expenses.
• Develop monthly financial reporting packages and dashboards for leadership.
• Analyze departmental revenues, expenses, staffing costs, and program performance.
• Evaluate program profitability and cost allocation methods across services.
• Prepare pro forma statements for new programs and capital projects.
