DLA Piper LLP (US) is seeking a Strategic Finance Analyst, Workforce Planning, to develop robust multi-year workforce models and enable advanced financial analysis across FP&A, HR, and practice groups.

The role involves collaboration with revenue and expense FP&A teams to drive growth, profitability, staffing, budgeting, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, Excel/Power BI proficiency, and experience in financial forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred for advanced analytics.
• Experience with FP&A, HR analytics, or workforce planning is advantageous.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and dashboard creation.

Responsabilités

• Assist in developing and maintaining workforce models across the practice groups and business lines.
• Conduct analytics including ROI and margin.
• Support multi-year financial forecasts and scenario modeling.
• Collaborate with FP&A, finance data analytics, HR partners and units to model growth opportunities and cost optimization strategies.
• Perform financial analysis to support capacity modeling and resource allocation at subgroup, practice group and vertical levels.
• Contribute to executive-level presentations and reports.
• Present and discuss analysis to Finance leadership.
• Utilize financial tools to improve budgeting and forecasting accuracy, delivery and decision-making.
• Leverage Excel, Power BI, and Power Query to create dynamic reports and visuals.
• Participate in future efforts to implement a workforce planning module.
• Apply AI tools to streamline modeling workflows and enhance presentations.
• Maintain data privacy and integrity.
