Job summary

DLA Piper seeks a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to support strategic initiatives by analyzing expenses, capex, and performance indicators. You will model financial scenarios and deliver timely recommendations to management.

You will collaborate with the FP&A Manager – Expenses, develop budgets/forecasts, and produce monthly close reports. A hybrid work setup and cross-office coordination are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with ability to present complex financial data clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication aptitudes.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze material aspects of $500m expense and capital expenditure program for administrative teams.
• Consolidate results with FP&A Manager – Expenses and explain variances to budget and prior year.
• Develop budgets and forecasts for groups with bottoms-up expense drivers.
• Produce reporting for monthly close and annual planning processes.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to identify cost savings opportunities and support new initiatives.
• Prepare journal entries and adjustments to budgets and actuals as required.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities across the organization and collaborate with FP&A.
