Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Sr Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to support the firm’s strategic initiatives by analyzing trends in expenses and capital expenditures. You will develop financial models, monitor performance indicators, and provide timely, data-driven recommendations to management for strategic decisions.

Collaborating with FP&A and other departments, you will produce monthly close and annual planning analyses, with a focus on identifying cost savings opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar field.
• 5 years of experience in a law firm, professional services firm or blue-chip organization focusing on expense management and/or financial planning.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze material aspects of a $500m expense and capex program for administrative teams.
• Consolidate results with FP&A Manager – Expenses and explain variances versus budget and prior year.
• Develop budgets and forecasts with bottoms-up expense drivers and documented assumptions.
