Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking a Financial Business Analyst III in Savannah Machinery Works. This role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Leadership to drive profitability and operational excellence through advanced financial analysis, cost accounting, forecasting, and BI tools.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in accounting/finance and strong communication skills. The analyst will support monthly close, profit recognition, accruals, and financial reporting while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience required.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• ERP SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with leaders and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support financial and operational analysis to guide decisions, budgeting, forecasting and performance improvements.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close, profit recognition, accruals, reconciliations and reporting.
• Analyze project, P&L and balance sheet performance, comparing actuals to budgets and forecasts.
• Manage inventory and standard costing processes, including forecasting and reporting.
• Maintain fixed asset records and support asset verification and approvals.
• Participate in internal audits and JSOX compliance and control reviews.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering and Project Management for financial insights.
