Job summary

ABB is seeking a Financial Project Analyst to support the US import business with financial and commercial matters, project invoicing, and reporting. This onsite role reports to the Trading Business Controller, US - ELDS, and requires strong IFRS/US GAAP knowledge, SAP experience, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will drive monthly planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI monitoring, while managing audits and ensuring internal controls across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field; professional qualification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related role.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and project controlling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, statutory reporting, tax, and internal controls.
• Lead monthly planning processes: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and KPI monitoring.
• Oversee accounting, reporting, and statutory obligations; manage audits with external auditors.
• Establish governance aligned with regulations; implement risk mitigation and controls frameworks.
• Monitor cash flow, treasury activities, and act as authorized signatory for filings.
• Collaborate with local leadership to assess financial impact of contracts and purchases.
