Job summary

Waymo is seeking a senior finance professional to join the Strategic Finance and Corporate FP& A team in a hybrid role reporting to the Head of Strategic Finance. You will build complex fleet-partner models, support cross‑functional negotiations, and translate financial data into actionable leadership recommendations.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of high‑impact experience in investing, corporate development, or strategy, plus advanced modeling and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of high-impact financial experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Public Markets Investing, Corporate Development, or Corporate Strategy with a focus on complex deal execution.
• Advanced financial modeling skills for diverse transaction types including JV, partnerships, M&A, and restructurings.
• Cross-functional collaboration across multiple business units to solve multi-dimensional problems.
• Deal process experience: valuation, due diligence, and translating terms into executable financial structures.
• Clear communication to distill data into principled recommendations for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support the deal lifecycle by building and maintaining fleet partnership models aligned with capital deployment goals.
• Structure fleet partnership deals with Business Development and Strategy teams and support external negotiations.
• Translate financial interdependencies into actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Monitor post-deal performance and long-term capital deployment with FP&A involvement.
• Standardize templates and drive cross-functional data input via process improvements.
