Job summary

Goodwill - Redwood Empire is seeking a Director of Finance & Administration to lead financial operations, planning, and internal controls from its Santa Rosa offices. The role reports to the President & CEO and oversees the finance team and IT associates.

The position focuses on strategic finance, internal controls, and external partnerships, ensuring fiscal integrity and alignment with organizational mission and growth plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA/MBA preferred.
• Seven years of progressively responsible experience in accounting and finance.
• At least three years in a supervisory or management role.
• Nonprofit accounting experience in a 501(c)(3) organization preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, cash management, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee accurate financial reporting and cash-flow forecasting.
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting across operating, grant, and capital budgets.
• Provide strategic financial insight to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team.
• Oversee audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage treasury functions, banking relationships, investments, and debt obligations.
