Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina, Inc. is seeking a Finance Manager - Reporting & Compliance to lead a high-performing finance team and oversee core financial operations, including reporting, accounting, budgeting support, audits, reconciliations, grant and contract reporting, and financial analysis.

The role partners with finance leadership and organizational stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, effective budget management, compliance with financial requirements, and timely

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required; CPA is highly preferred.
Minimum 5 years in Finance Operations with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong analytical, organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to convey complex information.

Responsibilities

Builds and develops a high-functioning team with performance management and development.
Manages internal and external financial reporting, GAAP, and bank reconciliations.
Oversees budgeting processes and provides tax support and Accounts Receivable oversight.
Ensures grant/contract reporting accuracy and supports monthly/annual financial closes.
Act as liaison with auditors and coordinate required audits.
