Job summary

Goodwill Mission Services seeks an operations, grant finance and compliance leader to oversee $8+ million in federal, state, and local funding agreements. Reporting to the Executive Director and leading a team of 5, this role manages multiple priorities, takes initiative, and drives for quality results.

It coordinates with Goodwill of Silicon Valley and internal Finance and HR teams. The role emphasizes compliance, budgeting, audits, and data-driven reporting, with onsite attendance at Goodwill

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years in grants management or nonprofit finance with project management.
• 7+ years preferred for seniority.
• Experience with federal grant compliance (2 CFR 200) and Uniform Guidance.
• Fund accounting, nonprofit GAAP, cost allocation, and audits.
• Experience with ERP/financial systems and supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Grant financial operations including budgets, invoicing, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance across policies, SOPs, and documentation standards.
• Oversee data systems (CaseWorthy) and BI reporting for KPIs by grant.
• Manage relationships with the parent organization and funding partners.
• Support audits, time and effort certification, and indirect cost rates.
