Job summary

Poulin Building Materials, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative in Vermont. You will generate new business while maintaining existing accounts, with the role offering a salary plus commissions and a strong focus on building materials knowledge.

Responsibilities include promoting products, providing quotes, and coordinating deliveries, while meeting budget and margin goals. Requires 3 years of sales experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of sales experience in building materials or related industry required.
• Ability to negotiate prices and contractual agreements.
• Estimating from blueprints and reading plans.
• Strong knowledge of building materials industry and products.

Responsibilities

• Promote, sell, and secure new accounts for the company.
• Provide existing accounts with necessary products, time, and information.
• Assist with product selection to meet customer needs.
• Prepare and communicate price quotations, terms, delivery dates, and service obligations.
• Resolve customer complaints and problems.
• Assist in collecting accounts receivable.
• Coordinate project and contractor schedules and material deliveries.
• Prepare and input orders as necessary.
• Inform company of competitive prices and area-related information.
• Maintain knowledge of daily/monthly sales vs budget and margin goals.
• Research and order special products as necessary.
• Adhere to conflict of interest or non-compete terms.
• Comply with attendance policy.
