Job summary

MRC Global is seeking a dynamic sales professional to drive revenue growth across a defined territory in the United States. You will own the full cycle from lead generation to close, focusing on PVF materials, pricing strategies, and contract terms to maximize gross margin.

You will build and execute a proactive sales plan, grow new accounts and expand existing ones, and partner with Branch and National Accounts to deliver superior service and solutions while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years in customer service, inside sales, or warehouse roles with increasing responsibility.
• Knowledge of PVF materials and contract terms.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Willingness to be on call and travel.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business in the assigned territory by analyzing customers and markets.
• Grow existing accounts with a proactive sales plan and address lost business.
• Achieve maximum profitability by meeting gross margin goals through negotiation.
• Provide consultative sales, prepare presentations, demonstrations, and determine customer needs.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain for pricing and contracts.
• Develop knowledge of customer accounts incl. schedules, pricing, and terms.
• Collaborate with Branch and National Accounts to plan and negotiate sales strategies.
• Ensure contractual compliance and communicate deviations with management.
• Identify market threats/opportunities and report trends.
• Maintain MRC Global systems, pricing, and process knowledge.
