Job summary

Ohio Department of Public Safety - Bureau of Motor Vehicles/Field Operations in Columbus, OH seeks a Management Analyst to monitor and analyze operations, advise leadership, and coordinate IT project modifications. You will liaise across divisions, test new system changes, and document requirements and test plans.

The role includes coordinating meetings, supporting Deputy Registrar operations, and ensuring performance through cross-team collaboration with IT developers and administrative staff.

Qualifications

• 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in research & analysis & written documentation of findings.
• Undergraduate core program in business or public administration or related field of study.
• Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

Responsibilities

• Monitor & analyze operations, systems or procedures to determine improvements.
• Provide technical assistance & advice to divisional staff in decision making by researching & analyzing operations.
• Act as liaison between Field Operations & other divisions; test & pilot IT delivery systems; identify & provide corrective solutions.
• Schedule, coordinate & attend application system modification meetings; provide justification, analysis & feedback.
• Monitor Deputy Registrar operating systems to ensure performance; coordinate with IT teams; prepare user stories and test plans.
