Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Pricing Analyst to support the development and execution of cost and pricing strategies for federal government proposals and contracts in Arlington, VA and other U.S. locations.

The role focuses on compliant, accurate, and competitive pricing submissions under FAR, DFARS, and CAS. You will collaborate with capture, contracts, finance, and programs teams to build pricing models, analyze costs, and prepare documentation that aligns with bid strategies and customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of pricing/estimating experience in federal contracting.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and government proposal processes.
• Strong Excel and Word skills; ProPricer experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed pricing models for proposals, tasks orders, and contract amendments.
• Prepare compliant cost volumes and support proposal documentation.
• Conduct labor rate, material, subcontractor, and ODC pricing as required.
• Ensure pricing submissions comply with FAR/DFARS, CAS, DCAA/DCMA guidelines.
• Perform sensitivity analyses and risk assessments to support bid strategy.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for reviews.
