Job summary

Supernova Defense and Space seeks a senior business development leader to own the growth engine for the energetics division. You will identify, shape, and win RDTE opportunities, develop relationships with USG groups, and manage proposals and active programs with a focus on compliance and credible technical communications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience owning USG RDTE business development and capture responsibilities.
• Strong technical background in engineering or chemistry as applied to energetic materials.
• Knowledge of energetic materials and processing techniques used to manufacture energetic components.
• Ability to credibly present solutions to technical customers and translate requirements into clear scopes and milestones.
• Deep working knowledge of compliance in defense environments and ability to drive implementation with stakeholders.
• Comfortable in a fast-changing early-stage environment with high workload and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead capture end-to-end: turning opportunities into contracts, mapping requirements, competitive intel, proposal orchestration, proposal writing and filing.
• Developing relationships with USG groups and partners.
• Create commercial materials about products and business proposals to private companies.
• Communication and reporting for active programs.
• Lead compliance practice and implementation.
