USDA is seeking a Senior Executive Service (SES) Level II leader to direct the financial management program of the Agency. Responsibilities include directing development and execution of financial policies and modernizing corporate systems in alignment with government guidelines.

The role entails executive leadership, strategic oversight, and ensuring sound financial management across national programs, with performance-based rewards where applicable.

Formación

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
• Initial appointments require a 1-year probationary period.
• Background Investigation required.
• If male born after 1959, register with the Selective Service or be exempt.
• File a Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of appointment and annually.
• May be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Pre-employment and random drug tests may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direction and leadership in formulating and executing the Agency's financial management program.
• Collaborates with executives to develop financial policies for nutrition assistance programs.
• Leads modernization of corporate financial systems in line with USDA guidelines.
• Advises leadership on major financial management decisions and policy.
• Monitors budget execution and prepares timely budget and accounting reports.
• Oversees financial programs of national scope with diverse client groups and delivery methods.
