Job summary

Talentify in Urbandale, IA, is seeking an administrative analyst to support the Office of the Chief Financial Officer with budget formulation, execution and performance oversight. Responsibilities

• Supports oversight of building security systems and access control; coordinates emergency plans, continuity materials, and calling-tree updates.
• Serves as a liaison between OCFO leadership, GSA, and the building lessor for lease oversight and COR responsibilities.
• Supports oversight of the NFSC building security system and access controls with OSSP, SIPRS, and PSP stakeholders.
• Researches, compiles, and documents financial data; maintains expenditure information across USDA financial systems.
• Reviews and analyzes obligations and expenditures to evaluate funding adequacy and identify adjustments.
• Assists with staffing needs, personnel actions, FTE tracking, and advising managers on HR processes.
• Helps assess administrative functions, identify issues, and propose improvements to policies and procedures.

Job description

This position is in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). The OCFO is responsible for providing expertise on budget formulation, execution and performance; communicating FSIS policy on financial management and accounting operations, systems and plans; and for integrating and executing technical leadership through strategic planning.

Duties

• Supports oversight of building security systems and access control; coordinates emergency plans, continuity materials, and calling-tree updates.
• Serves as a liaison between OCFO leadership, GSA, and the building lessor to address maintenance, cleaning, and facility-related concerns connected to lease oversight and COR responsibilities.
• Supports oversight of the NFSC building security system and access controls while coordinating with OSSP, SIPRS, Federal Protective Service, and other stakeholders to resolve security-related issues.
• Researches, compiles, and documents financial data; maintains expenditure information across USDA financial systems.
• Reviews and analyzes obligations and expenditures to evaluate funding adequacy and identify adjustments to prevent under- or over-obligation.
• Assists with staffing needs, personnel actions, FTE tracking, developing position descriptions and performance plans, and advising managers on HR processes.
• Helps assess administrative functions, identify issues, propose improvements, and provide recommendations on forms, policies, and procedures.

Requirements
