Job summary

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental (SSE) seeks a Facility Space Planner to support the 50th Civil Engineer Squadron at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. The role focuses on space planning, utilization, and optimization per AFCEC guidelines to support mission beddowns and relocations.

You will work with installation leadership, RPAOs, tenants, and engineering staff to maintain the Installation FSOP and develop COAs for space consolidation. Remote work is not anticipated.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• National Agency Check w/Inquiries (NACI) must be passed.
• Strong knowledge of facility space management and optimization.
• Ability to analyze facility data and recommend consolidation and optimization.
• Experience updating real property databases and using TRIRIGA is preferred.
• Ability to communicate complex planning decisions to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support installation-wide facility space management and optimization.
• Evaluate space requests and identify opportunities to utilize existing facilities.
• Perform space utilization analyses using NexGen IT (TRIRIGA).
• Maintain facility use data and square footage allocations.
• Apply AFMAN 32-1084 criteria when evaluating requests.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on facility space requirements.
• Develop space optimization COAs for beddowns and relocations.
• Prepare floor plan markups and presentation materials.
• Compile data and present recommendations on space utilization.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning
