Job summary
SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental (SSE) is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the 50th Civil Engineer Squadron at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. The role involves lifecycle support for facility projects, from planning to operation, including design, cost estimates, schedules, and SOWs.
The candidate will review technical documentation, conduct site surveys, and coordinate with multiple agencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited) required.
- Minimum of five years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering concepts and practices.
- Experience with CAD/GIS tools.
- Ability to obtain required security access and pass background checks.
Responsibilities
- Provide electrical engineering support for facility and infrastructure projects through planning, design, construction and completion.
- Develop and review design calculations, cost estimates, schedules, drawings, and SOWs.
- Support new construction, renovations, and improvements involving real property facilities and complex utility systems.
- Review submittals, RFIs, design docs, and change orders; provide technical recommendations.
- Conduct site surveys, facility assessments, and inspections to validate requirements and conditions.
