Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a seasoned project management professional to lead multiple programs aimed at optimizing the facilities network and managing lifecycle expansions, annual budgets, and technology enablement initiatives.

The role requires strong PM techniques, communication skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across teams. Travel is required to support facility projects and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent plus five (5) years related project management or analytical experience in facility administration, construction, design, planning, real estate, or other related field.
• Strong knowledge of project management techniques and processes.
• Strong presentation skills required to communicate strategies and solutions.
• Excellent critical thinking, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to organize concepts or ideas in a logical manner and communicate them clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple programs or projects to ensure all components and opportunities are identified, assigned, completed, and implemented.
• Lead prioritization and alignment of network expansion, fiscal year and technology enablement projects and facility maintenance and repair programs.
• Drive asset optimization leveraging data and ensuring on-time delivery and specification for projects.
• Lead vendor performance and accountability for adherence to contractual obligation and funding.
