Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc is seeking a seasoned project management leader to optimize the facilities network and drive lifecycle and capital planning across expansion, annual budgets, and technology enablement programs.

The role requires strong PM techniques, data-driven decision making, and the ability to communicate strategies clearly at all levels. Travel will be required to support network initiatives and maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent plus five (5) years related project management or analytical experience in facility administration, construction, design, planning, real estate, or other related field.
• Strong knowledge of project management techniques and processes.
• Strong presentation skills required to communicate strategies and solutions.
• Excellent critical thinking, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to organize concepts or ideas and communicate them clearly across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple programs or projects to ensure all components and opportunities are identified, assigned, completed, and implemented
• Lead prioritization and alignment of network expansion, fiscal year and technology enablement projects and facility maintenance and repair programs
• Drive asset optimization leveraging data and ensuring on-time delivery and specs for projects
• Lead vendor performance and accountability for contractual obligation, project completion to specification, and funded initiatives
• Ensure compliance and mitigate risk by proactively managing regulatory and internal compliance
• Develop policies, procedures and job aids and ensure consistent application
• Participate in development of facility capital, global expense long range outlooks, annual budget, and manage to fiscal plan
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations and company policies
• Perform other duties as required
