Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a project management professional to lead multiple programs focused on network optimization, lifecycle management of expansions, and maintenance initiatives in the Michigan region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with five years of related PM or analytical experience.
• Strong knowledge of project management techniques and processes.
• Strong presentation skills to communicate strategies and solutions.
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple programs or projects to ensure all components and opportunities are identified, assigned, completed, and implemented.
• Prioritize network expansion, fiscal year and technology enablement projects and facility maintenance and repair programs to meet customer expectations.
• Drive asset optimization using data to deliver on-time results and meet specifications.
• Lead vendor performance and accountability for contracts, funding and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance and mitigate risk by proactively managing regulatory and internal compliance.
• Develop policies, procedures and job aids and ensure consistent application.
• Participate in facility capital, long-range outlooks, annual budget, and fiscal plan management.
• Comply with laws/regulations and company policies/procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.
