Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc is seeking a program manager to lead collaborative efforts in optimizing the facilities network, and to manage lifecycle projects for expansions, annual initiatives, technology enablement, and facility maintenance and repair programs.

You will drive prioritization, vendor performance, and risk mitigation while ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies, develop budgets, and communicate strategies across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent plus five (5) years related project management or analytical experience in facility administration, construction, design, planning, real estate, or other related field.
• Strong knowledge of project management techniques and processes.
• Strong presentation skills required to communicate strategies and solutions.
• Excellent critical thinking, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to organize concepts or ideas in a logical manner and communicate them clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple programs or projects to ensure all components and opportunities are identified, assigned, completed, and implemented.
• Lead prioritization and alignment of network expansion, annual initiatives, and technology enablement projects and facility maintenance and repair programs.
• Drive asset optimization leveraging data to ensure on-time delivery and conformance to specifications for projects.
• Lead vendor performance and accountability for adherence to contracts, funding, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance and mitigate risk by proactively managing regulatory and internal compliance.
