At Duke University, the Facility Operations Planner will partner with skilled trades, supervisors, customers, contractors, and stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and optimize maintenance activities that support Duke's learning, research, healthcare, and operations.

The role blends technical planning, customer service, and problem-solving to ensure reliable facility services while promoting safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement across campus.

Qualificações

• Associate degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Computer Science, or a related field required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; two years experience alternative acceptable.
• Three or more years in operations planning, facilities management, or related leadership role preferred.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management systems (EAM) or CMMS is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate, and optimize maintenance activities across multiple building systems.
• Receive, evaluate, and process work requests in the EAM system; create and close work orders.
• Coordinate priorities, develop schedules, and ensure timely maintenance execution.
• Maintain records, inspections, and compliance documentation for asset programs.
• Communicate with faculty, staff, contractors, and vendors; provide status updates.
