Job summary

General Motors (GM) seeks a Facilities Management Representative to coordinate daily facility operations across assigned buildings. You will act as the primary interface among tenants, ICC, service providers, and cross-functional partners, driving projects and continuous improvement while aligning with GM safety, quality, cost, and environmental goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years in facilities operations, building maintenance, or similar, with complex environments.
• Experience coordinating external service providers, contractors, or subcontractors.
• Experience in safety, compliance, maintenance, and continuous-improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day facilities activities for assigned buildings to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of services.
• Serve as liaison between tenants and ICC, communicating needs and coordinating projects.
• Lead service providers and contractors, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
• Drive strategic facility planning using benchmarks to optimize space, energy, and furnishings.
• Apply GM safety standards and conduct safety processes across facilities.
