Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Hawaii seeks a Director of Food & Beverage to lead all F&B operations including Banquets, Restaurants, In-Room Dining and Lounges. This executive role reports to the hotel General Manager and interacts with Senior and Corporate leadership.

You will drive short and long-term F&B planning, budget development, marketing plans, and employee development while maintaining Hyatt service standards and compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years progressive hotel Food & Beverage experience (typically with Hyatt).
• With opening hotels, previous hotel pre-opening experience preferred.
• Service oriented style with professional presentations skills.
• At least 5 years experience in a senior role in a food and beverage environment.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset.
• Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills.
• Experience implementing new F&B concepts.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct Banquets, Restaurants, In-Room Dining, Lounges and other F&B areas.
• Plan and manage short- and long-term goals for F&B operations.
• Develop and manage budgets, marketing plans, and objectives.
• Participate in hotel Executive Committee discussions.
• Implement payroll, reports, forecasts, and inventory controls for F&B.
• Coordinate F&B with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Coach and develop employees; conduct performance and salary reviews.
• Address guest complaints and maintain high service standards.
• Ensure adherence to Hyatt standards and health regulations.
