Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks an External Manufacturing Sourcing Manager to define sourcing opportunities and align strategies across multiple sites. You will negotiate with suppliers and collaborate with internal partners to optimize sustained value for Dow.

You will analyze market conditions, lead supplier qualifications, RFIs, and evaluations, and drive continuous performance improvements through KPIs focused on safety, productivity, and quality. Relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian equivalent, or 10 years in role.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship for this role.

Responsibilities

• Clarify purchase scope and service requirements with stakeholders.
• Drive value from market using acumen and best practices, identify cost savings.
• Assess risk of market, supplier, and purchases; manage risk profiles.
• Develop sourcing strategies for safe, compliant, reliable sourcing.
• Lead supplier qualification, RFIs, RFQs, bids, and negotiations.
• Negotiate and implement commercial agreements per regional strategies.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and drive SRM improvements.
• Use influential leadership to elevate team performance.
