Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is seeking a Supply Director to oversee a portfolio of CMOs and internal supply functions, ensuring alignment with commercial and manufacturing strategies. The role emphasizes leadership of project teams, governance, and managing budgets while delivering products to patients.

The position requires deep GMP experience, strategic supplier management, and the ability to drive improvements in supplier metrics across complex networks.

Qualifications

• BS Degree (or international equivalent) in relevant fields; GMP background is expected.
• Minimum 10 years in Pharmaceutical Industry with strong GMP background.
• Minimum 5 years' experience leading direct or matrix teams.
• Minimum 2 years' experience working with CMOs on supplier performance and relationship management across complex supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of CMO performance metrics (OTIF, NPI, quality).
• Establish strategic goals for CMOs and PQTS teams aligned with strategies.
• Manage day-to-day relationships and communication between GSK and CMOs.
• Coach and develop direct reports to achieve business and quality objectives.
• Ensure delivery of supply within P&L and manage the operations budget.
• Drive continuous improvement within PQTS to achieve operational excellence.
• Lead senior stakeholder engagement and cross-functional alignment.
