Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Supply Director to lead a portfolio of CMOs, align supply strategies with manufacturing goals, and manage risk and performance to deliver medicines to patients. You will guide senior stakeholders and supervise cross-functional teams across external manufacturing and supply chain operations.

The role emphasizes strong GMP experience, strategic governance, and financial stewardship, with a focus on integrating new drug products into the portfolio and maintaining supply

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Biotechnology or Biologics related field or engineering, logistics, finance or quality.
• Minimum of 10 years Pharmaceutical Industry with a strong GMP background.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience leading direct or matrix teams.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working with CMOs on supplier performance and relationship management across complex supply chains.
• Experience in manufacture and supply operations within a production facility.
• Experience implementing new product launches, integrating new business or business models, changing sources of supply and/or divesting products.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of CMO performance metrics: OTIF, NPI delivery, quality, and raw materials handling.
• Establish strategic goals for CMOs and PQTS teams, aligning with commercial and manufacturing strategies.
• Manage day-to-day business, operations, quality relationships, and communication between GSK and CMOs.
• Coach and guide direct reports (N-1) to achieve EM business, operational and quality objectives.
• Ensure delivery of supply within P&L and manage the assigned portfolio budget.
