Job summary

Heidrick & Struggles is seeking an Executive Search Senior Associate in New York City or Chicago to lead key steps in the recruiting lifecycle, from search strategy to candidate placement. You will work with Search Partners and Principals to identify top executives, build pipelines, and present qualified candidates to clients.

You will network, conduct in-depth interviews, write candidate assessments, and manage relationships across the lifecycle while upholding the firm’s ethics and quality

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of professional recruiting experience or 3+ years in recruiting.
• Undergraduate BA/BS degree required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with external clients and candidates.

• Identify and contact candidates for executive opportunities.
• Develop position specifications and search strategies.
• Maintain client-ready reports and candidate records.
