Job summary

True Search is seeking an Associate to join our team and collaborate closely with Partners and Principals on search execution. You will conduct research, build target company lists, source and screen candidates, and manage the majority of data entry into Thrive TRM.

An Associate on the pathway to Senior Associate should own the candidate pipeline and partner relationships with limited oversight. You will work across searches to ensure quality deliverables, develop candidate engagement strategies

Qualifications

• One to three years of professional experience in an externally facing client management or executive search role.
• Organized and efficient with ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Excellent collaborator with cross-functional teams across regions.
• Initiative and independence when needed.
• Critical thinker capable of evaluating candidate fit for organizations.
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a Partner/Principal on searches; research and map candidates and companies.
• Ensure job descriptions, target lists, and market maps are completed at search outset.
• Source, screen, and review a large portion of candidates for each search.
• Coordinate with Engagement Administrator on scheduling candidate interactions.
• Prepare client update calls with clear agendas and updated Thrive TRM records.
• Transcribe notes from client updates detailing company and candidate changes.
• Continuously discover and add qualified candidates outside the True network.
