Job summary

Green Infrastructure Center Inc. seeks an Executive Manager to serve as the Executive Director’s deputy, directing budgeting and financial planning while overseeing day-to-day operations.

This leadership role also supervises the accounting team and helps shape strategic direction for the nonprofit. The position involves in-person work at the Charlottesville, VA office, with responsibilities spanning program development, fundraising, governance, and partner relations.

Qualifications

• College degree required. MBA/advanced degree preferred.
• Experience leading budgets, grants, and contracts in a nonprofit setting desired.
• Strong leadership, governance, and policy development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead organizational budgeting, financial planning, and reporting to the Board.
• Oversee grants and contracts management, invoicing, and compliance.
• Supervise accounting staff and drive staff development and performance reviews.
• Guide strategic direction in collaboration with the Executive Director and leadership team.
• Ensure operational excellence across headquarters and field offices.
