Fervo Energy is seeking an Executive Communications Lead to own the CEO's external and internal communications, including speeches, keynote remarks, and talking points. Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in executive communications, speechwriting, or corporate communications.
• Proven track record writing for C-suite or senior executives in high-visibility settings.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different executives and audiences.
• Experience building executive-level presentations (PowerPoint, Keynote, or similar).
• Strong project management skills coordinating multiple executives, events, and deadlines.
• Discretion handling sensitive or market-moving information.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Write speeches, keynote remarks, talking points, and prepared statements for the CEO and executive team.
• Own and protect a consistent executive voice and narrative across external communications.
• Partner with executives to translate intent into clear, compelling remarks.
• Build and maintain conference and speaking-engagement calendar.
• Review opportunities and determine level of participation and venue.
• Prepare speakers with alignment, logistics, and rehearsal.
• Build and design slide decks for keynotes and engagements.
• Ensure external materials are on-brand and aligned with current narrative.
• Write speeches and create content to showcase technology and market position.
• Manage version control and rapid deck updates as messaging evolves.
• Serve as the single owner for executive external communications, coordinating with Legal, IR, and Media Relations.
• Advise executives on communications strategy and positioning for high-stakes moments.
