Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking an Executive Communications Lead to own executive communications for internal and external audiences. You will craft speeches, keynote remarks, talking points, and presentations for the CEO and leadership team, ensuring a coherent voice across all external messaging.

You will also shape a conference-engagement strategy, coordinate opportunities, and prepare executives for high-stakes appearances, while collaborating with Legal, IR, and Media Relations to maintain

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in executive communications, speechwriting, or corporate communications.
• Proven track record writing for C-suite in high-visibility environments.
• Exceptional writing skills, with ability to adapt tone and voice to different executives and audiences.
• Experience building executive-level presentations (PowerPoint, Keynote, or similar).
• Strong project management coordinating multiple executives, events, and deadlines.
• Discretion handling sensitive, confidential, or market-moving information.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Write speeches, keynote remarks, talking points, and prepared statements for the CEO and executive team.
• Own and protect a consistent executive voice across external communications.
• Partner with executives to translate intent into clear, compelling remarks.
• Build and maintain conference and speaking-engagement calendars.
• Review opportunities and determine conferences and events for participation.
• Prepare speakers with message alignment, logistics, and rehearsal.
• Design slide decks for keynotes and executive engagements.
• Ensure materials are on-brand and aligned with current narrative.
• Write speeches and build content to showcase Fervo's technology and market position.
• Manage version control and rapid deck updates as messaging evolves.
• Serve as the single owner for external executive communications, coordinating with Legal/IR/Media Relations.
• Advise executives on communications strategy for high-stakes moments.
