Job summary

Girls Who Code Inc. seeks a full-time Manager, Events to strategize, plan, and execute a portfolio of virtual and in-person events engaging students and corporate partners.

You will own relationships with partners throughout the event lifecycle and collaborate with Development, Programs, and Marketing to deliver high-quality experiences aligned with GWC’s mission. Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in event management, event production, project management, or related field.
• Strong event production and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple events and stakeholders with minimal oversight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to executives.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning and execution of a portfolio of virtual and in-person events.
• Develop event timelines, milestones, and deliverables from concept to wrap-up.
• Serve as primary lead, identify risks, resolve challenges, balance partner needs and feasibility.
• Lead event production: run of show, speaker prep, technical setup, venue logistics, vendors.
• Evaluate events using feedback to improve future programming and processes.
