Build AI in San Francisco is seeking its first Events & Field Marketing Manager to build Build's events function from scratch. You will own how Build shows up in the world: conferences we sponsor, events we host, and standalone experiences for customers, prospects, candidates, and the broader physical AI community.

This is a strategy and execution role with significant autonomy, budget, and responsibility for representing Build externally.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years in events, field marketing, experiential marketing, or related role.
• Personally owned conferences, sponsored events, dinners, or other in-person experiences from concept through execution.
• Exceptionally organized and detail oriented, can run several complex projects simultaneously.
• High agency; able to make things happen rather than wait for instructions.
• Creative with strong taste; creating memorable experiences.

Aufgaben

• Build and own Build's events calendar and strategy from scratch.
• Own presence at AI/robotics conferences, including sponsorships, attendance, activations, and related events.
• Create standalone events for customers, prospects, candidates, and the AI/robotics community.
• Identify conferences to invest in based on customer, recruiting, and brand impact.
• Develop creative concepts to differentiate Build from a booth•driven presence.
• Manage end-to-end events: concept, venue, vendors, contracts, budgets, guest lists, logistics, onsite execution, follow-up.
• Measure outcomes and convert successful experiments into repeatable programs.
• Build systems and processes to scale the events function as the company grows.
