Job summary

Buckingham Co. is seeking an Events & Engagement Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will lead the planning, coordination and execution of all-employee and corporate events, linking efforts with Marketing, HR and senior leadership to reinforce Buckingham’s culture and brand.

You will also support the Buckingham Foundation’s philanthropic operations, including grants, employee volunteer initiatives, reporting and board support.

Qualifications

• College degree in Business, Human Resources, Hospitality, Marketing, or Communications.
• Commercial and/or multifamily real estate knowledge a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, coordination and execution of all-employee and corporate events.
• Organize quarterly employee volunteer activities with nonprofits and community orgs.
• Develop event briefs, run-of-show docs and post-event recaps for continuous improvement.
• Source, negotiate and manage relationships with venues, caterers, AV, transportation and decor providers.
• Collaborate with Marketing, HR and senior leadership to align event strategy with goals and brand standards.
• Build and manage annual events calendar and coordinate timing across departments and properties.
• Develop and manage event budgets, track expenses and reconcile invoices.
• Coordinate quarterly Insight meetings with Senior Leadership Team and manage logistics.
