Job summary

The Planned Giving Specialist at International Fellowship of Christians and Jews is based in downtown Chicago with a hybrid work model. The role supports post-mortem gift administration, including probate estates and trusts, while coordinating with the Fundraising, Finance, and Analytics teams to ensure donor intent is respected and legal requirements are met.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least three years in estate/trust administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with estate/trust administration preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee post-mortem gift documents and update CRM accurately.
• Execute actions related to post-mortem gifts in a timely, professional manner.
• Review external communications and documents relating to post-mortem gifts.
• Review estate inventories and accountings for accuracy and donor intent compliance.
• Ensure documents and disclosures are collected in accordance with law and policy.
