Job summary
The International Fellowship Of Christians & Jews, Inc is seeking a Philanthropy Advisor for Planned Giving in Chicago. This remote role covers the Western and Central US, focusing on identifying, cultivating and soliciting planned gifts with a proven fundraising track record.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in planned giving, and professional certification in philanthropy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or Non-Profit Management or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in planned giving with proven fundraising track record.
- Professional certification or membership in relevant nonprofit organization strongly desired.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate, establish and enhance relationships with portfolio of donors and prospects.
- Work with Gift Planning team to formulate strategies for donor identification, cultivation and solicitation.
- Meet with current and potential donors to assess capability and propensity for a planned gift.
- Achieve individual financial goals as part of the department’s strategy.
- Manage trips from research and planning to reporting and follow-up, targeting key donors.
