Job summary

University of Virginia is seeking an ERM/PCI Compliance Analyst to support the Financial Operations unit. You will compile ERM data, analyze risk registers, and assist with PCI compliance tasks across the Academic Division, Medical Center, and Wise.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of compliance experience. The position is exempt, open until filled, with background checks and visa sponsorship not provided. Charlottesville, VA office.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with a compliance environment. Willingness to learn about payment card compliance and enterprise risk management.
• Written and verbal communications are clear, responsive, timely, and professional.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to design and improve processes and workflows, including leveraging technology; perform research using web-based resources.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in a compliance environment; ERM/PCI experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a generalist compliance analyst for the Financial Operations unit.
• Compile and organize data collected for the University’s ERM program.
• Analyze and maintain the University ERM risk register.
• Assist with and record the results of department-level risk analysis meetings.
• Coordinate meeting times and assist with ERM report generation.
• Follow established payment card procedures to ensure compliance with University policy and industry standards.
• Instruct units in PCI procedures and security measures.
• Coordinate communications with Arrow Payments, the University’s third-party payment platform contractor.
• Assist units with payment platform security and implementation.
• Assist with annual PCI tasks (Self-Assessment Questionnaires, training, etc.).
