Job summary

Everwise Credit Union seeks a Director, Enterprise Risk Management to lead the ERM program and embed risk-aware decision-making across the organization. You will manage the ERM team, drive risk identification, assessment, aggregation, and reporting, and partner with executive leadership on risk strategy.

You will maintain knowledge of NCUA regulatory expectations, develop risk dashboards and KRIs, and ensure rigorous board-level reporting and governance for a growing regional credit union.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, business, finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in financial services ERM or related functions.
• 4+ years of people management or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously enhance the ERM framework across the organization.
• Coordinate cross-functional risk assessments and aggregate enterprise risk.
• Develop KRIs, risk appetite statements, and escalation thresholds.
• Prepare risk reports for executive leadership, Board committees, and VP level.
• Develop data-driven dashboards and risk metrics for leadership insights.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Internal Audit, Fraud, and IT for integrated oversight.
