Job summary

Everwise Credit Union is seeking a seasoned Director of Enterprise Risk Management to lead the ERM program, embedding risk-aware decision-making across the organization. You will oversee risk identification, assessment, aggregation, and reporting in a regulated financial services environment.

You will partner with Compliance, Internal Audit, and senior leadership to shape risk posture, develop KRIs and reporting packages, and coach the ERM team toward continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in risk management, business, finance, or related field, required.
• Master's degree or CFE/ACU designation preferred.
• 6+ years in financial services ERM, compliance, audit, fraud or operational risk.
• 4+ years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance the credit union's ERM framework aligned to risk appetite and tolerances.
• Coordinate cross-functional risk assessments across units to build an enterprise-wide risk view.
• Develop KRIs, risk appetite statements, and escalation thresholds with senior leadership.
• Prepare risk reports for executives, Board committees, and VPs.
• Create data-driven dashboards and metrics for risk insights.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Internal Audit, Fraud, InfoSec and business lines for integrated risk oversight.
• Support vendor and third-party risk management activities.
