Job summary

Luminis Health, Inc. is seeking an Equipment and Capital Category Manager to drive strategic sourcing and contracting for equipment and capital projects across the system.

You will standardize processes, collaborate with Finance, Clinical, IS, Bio-Med, and Risk Management, and lead supplier negotiations to meet enterprise goals. The role requires five years of strategic sourcing or category management in healthcare, with experience in capital planning and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years directly relatable Health System procurement experience.
• Five years of strategic sourcing or category management experience in a healthcare or hospital environment.
• Three years of capital planning or project management experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in cross-functional leadership, contract negotiation, and technology assessment.
• Proficiency in budgeting, supply chain analytics, and vendor management.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems required.
• LEAN/Six Sigma or other process improvement certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes sourcing and category strategies for equipment and capital projects.
• Leads supplier negotiations and ensures contract compliance with corporate standards.
• Partners with Finance, Clinical, and IT to align procurement with budgets and project timelines.
• Manages capital budgeting inputs, supplier engagement, and technology assessments.
• Coordinates with Contract Administration, Legal, and other stakeholders to ensure proper approvals and CLM documentation.
• Drives process improvements using LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies.
