Qualifications

• Ability to negotiate and manage contracts.

Overview

Category Manager - Capital - Direct Hire. Ready to make a real impact in healthcare? We're looking for a Category Manager to lead high-value sourcing initiatives, build strong supplier partnerships, and drive cost-effective strategies across and take ownership of the medical Capital category. In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping operations for medical supplies, equipment, and services, ensuring quality, performance, and value at every step.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end operations of all Capital Strategic Sourcing
• Provide management reporting for key deliverables, plans, programs, and KPI’s
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Contribute to ensuring that the sourcing process drives market sustainability, value to customers, and supply chain initiatives
• Effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal teams
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure all relevant technical and clinical aspects of category management are met

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of Capital Sourcing experience - preferably medical equipment
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred - Workday
• Experience in Healthcare is a plus
• Contracting and negotiation experience

Must reside or be willing to relocate to the following states: Texas, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina.
